The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030. The Sustainable Development 17 Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The 17 Goals were adopted by all UN Member States in 2015, as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which set out a 15-year plan to achieve the Goals.

The Decade of Healthy Ageing (2020-2030) is an opportunity to bring together governments, civil society, international agencies, professionals, academia, the media, and the private sector for ten years of concerted, catalytic and collaborative action to improve the lives of older people, their families, and the communities in which they live.

The Eastern Mediterranean Region (EMR) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Learning Platform is a collaboration between the Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research and the Division of Health Protection and Promotion at the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean. It is implemented by the Social Research Centre of the American University in Cairo.

AGE Platform Europe is a European network of non-profit organisations of and for people aged 50+, which aims to voice and promote the interests of the 200 million citizens aged 50+ in the European Union (Eurostat, 2018) and to raise awareness on the issues that concern them most. in Europe

European Innovation Partnership platform is a communication and information hub for all actors involved in Active and Healthy Ageing through Europe. It is the place to encourage partner engagement, promote news and events, meet and exchange ideas with peers, and look for potential partners on innovative projects. 

Stride Dementia project is examining current practice, both at a national level and for individual families, both to help people living with dementia to live well, and to ensure that family and other carers do not face excessive costs that could impoverish them or compromise their own health.
